I Need You Here; Well, here was a place that one just couldn't resist in the least. Just beautifully morbid place that spoke of death, yet tried so hard to hide it with much more lovely flowers. Sayuri knew better though, she knew much better. A village had once stood here, a nice one she had visited many years back when she had just escaped her home. It was a nice village, one that kept her in control when it was searching for the blood of her family's killers. 'The only thing that kept me from giving in to the beast.' The Hai-Riyo was currently laying down against the ground, head resting on the grass and one of her ears pressed against the dirt. It looked odd, well, if you didn't know why she was in such a position. Not staying alert and paying attention to her surroundings like she should be. She was too busy with what she was doing.
Sayuri had actually just stopped by here because of the flowers, she could never resist the flowers. She had just wanted to sit down in the field until she remembered what this place. That beneath the beauty there lay a sad event that had almost been covered up. She had wanted to know if she could hear them, know the story of their lives by just sitting there and listening. Waiting for the slightest cry, the slightest bit of sweet voice from one of the village mothers. If you looked at her past you would know why she wanted to do this. Sayuri just wanted to have one bit of hope, she missed her parents dearly and wanted to know if she would ever see them again. 'I miss you daddy...' Life had been going so great until that day, the day that a neko tribe had decided to take everything she loved away from her.
A single, clawed hand rose to touch a little red flower that was next to her. Feeling the soft petals as she sighed and finally turned on her back, defeated as she couldn't hear a thing. 'Maybe they don't want to be heard.' She gave a soft grunt, believing that was the very reason why. Ivory hair lay around her head like a halo, contrasting greatly against the dark green grass. Yes, maybe she could just lay there for a while before taking off again. Just enjoy the silence and the surrounding flowers for their beauty. "I think I will, just enjoy the silence." Voice gentle and melodious, smooth as it caressed the ears of those listening. Sayuri closed her eyes, allowing her ears to stay alert for surrounding danger. There would be no disturbance today, if the gods allowed her this day that is... Life Is Falling Apart.

((Hope you don’t mind dealing with Mr. Beautifully Evil Naguri, lol. No one will ever change this animal I have become.
Flowers: they were useless things, as much a waste of space as humans. More so, even; you couldn’t eat a flower like you could a human. That was why he took such joy in destroying the worthless little things. It was such a true joy to be in this form, free of human bonds, especially when he knew that as soon as he reached the village he would be confined to that bloody two-legged form again. He may as well make the most of this chance to walk in this form, to feel the air against his scales, to feel the ground beneath his bulky body. And, after all, he was in no hurry to reach his destination.
Dark yellow tongue flicked out of his reptilian mouth on rapid intervals, tasting the air as Naguri’s four legs worked to haul his ton of muscle, bone, and scale across the ground, flattening a trail through the flowers. Fangs were bared in a grin as he glanced over his scaled human shoulder at the trail of destruction he was leaving; such a wonderful sight, that.
The grin turned to a smirk as he caught the taste of another youkai. Ah, what have we here? A sweet little girl, perhaps? Yes, he was in no hurry; he had time to stop for some fun. Tongue continued to flick as he turned to follow the taste of the trail, his sapphire eyes glancing about the area. Ah, here we are, a gap in the sea of flowers; that must be her.
His approach was anything but quiet; unless she was asleep or oblivious, she’d get up to see who was there any moment now. But why wait for that to start the fun? “My, my, I wonder what we could have here?” he hissed, a sadistic grin spreading across his mouth as he continued, “a fair little maiden lost in this field of death? Such a shame, drawn here by the pretty flowers, were you? So naïve…”
Human torso leaned forward as Naguri dropped a heavily clawed hand to the flowers, “So beautiful, aren’t they?” He stabbed one with a claw, ripping it from its stem, “And so fragile, wouldn’t you agree?” he paused, bringing his other hand up to crumble the flower, dropping bits and pieces to the ground as he continued, “So easily eradicated, so easily killed.”
His tongue flicked again as he smirked, “I do wonder at those who come here to admire such weak little things. Could it be because the flowers represent their own weakness?” He hissed, chuckling quietly, a sound akin to rocks in a blender.
Yes, little girls, even the youkai ones, could be so much fun…

I Need You Here; Sayuri had been in a calm state, enjoying the company of the little colorful flowers and the gentle silence that came with them. Everything had been going fine until just a moment later. The presence of another youkai had suddenly alerted her senses, causing her to open her eyes quickly. The emerald eyes looked from side to side, making sure it wasn't so close to her. However, her nerves were putting her on edge as the aura of the youkai didn't seem to be a pure one in the least. She sat up, allowing herself to get a better look at everything around her. The scaly, hideous form she saw only made her more on edge than she already was. It took a while for her to register that he was speaking, almost mocking her choice to rest in such a place. She would admit, most youkai didn't care for nature very much.
Lovely facial features were blank, yet the worry shined brightly in her eyes. This youkai looked and sounded like he had much experience in the form of battle, giving the young and inexperienced youkai something to worry about. Her face suddenly contorted into a frown, watching as he tore the flowers from their stems and destroyed them. 'What a beast...' The look darkened her features, pushed away the usual beauty it held from her radiant personality. Sayuri turned her head away, not wishing to look at the foul creature any longer. The hiss was grating against her nerves, making her fuse shorten as she wished to tell this brute a thing or two. It was no true secret once you got to know the young Hai-Riyo, that she had a mouth and mind to tell someone off, make them angered with her bold words even.
Gaze suddenly snapped back to the youkai, emerald eyes blazing with a strong flame that tried to burn his form. "And I'm sure you make it a daily practice to bother those that are weaker than you. Can' t take on the big boys can you?" Tone grew venomous and sarcastic, almost mocking the hiss that came from his mouth. "Let me guess, you destroy things that are so beautiful because you yourself are such a hideous creature. It seems you hit the jackpot with a personality to match." She growled lightly, though she was sure the beast was so foul that he could care less about what she was saying. Probably had the mind of a barbarian, one who only cared about hunting and killing. She glanced back at the poor remains of what once was a lovely flower, crushed petals strewn around the ground.
The wings on her back flexed, showing her discomfort with the presence of the youkai. "Tell me princess, you make it a habit to go around bothering young females? I can see why you would have a little trouble attracting the attention of one." One more with the comments of his more demonic form, the sight of the lizard like features making her skin crawl. Ivory hair framed her lovely face, showing her youth and the innocence which she had managed to keep over the years. Sayuri had refused to get up, staying in her sitting position as if he couldn't move her if he wanted. She was determined to physically show she wasn't bothered by him, though she was more than happy to show the discomfort verbally. Her claws flexed, almost as if she would be ready to take a swipe at him if he got too close... Life Is Falling Apart.

((Rofl, her insults just made my day xD. That was great.)) ˇ˅ˇNagurikorosuˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇHave you heard the newsˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇThat you’re dead?ˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇI think they neverˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇLiked you anywayˇ˅ˇ
No one ever had much nice to say, I think they never liked you anyways.
Sapphire eyes watched the girl sit up, and blood-darkened fangs showed all the more as the demon’s grin widened; he had been right. Just look how innocent she was, such a fragile little soul; it would take a true monster to mess with such a innocent little girl. And a true monster he was.
But what was this, could it be that she had a bit of a sharp tongue? Well, how wonderful! He did indeed enjoy a verbal skirmish; after all, hardly a person could stand up to him physically, but mentally, that was something else. Perhaps she could be a challenge; oh, he would indeed enjoy breaking her spirit. Oh yes, that was indeed one of his favorite past times; why bother fighting the ‘big boys’ as she called them when there was no fun in effortlessly slaughtering them? But in toying with innocent children? Now there was some fun.
“Oh, my dear, I would very much love to take on the big boys…” he hissed, dragging his bulk forward again as he turned to begin a circle around the girl, “But you see, the problem is, there are none. Do you happen to know why that is?” He asked, his human torso dropping as he brought his reptilian features much closer to her, his forward dragging not faltering, “They’re already dead.”
He straightened again, waving a clawed hand at the path of destruction he was leaving in the flowers as he circled her, “Like these flowers, so fragile and easily killed, I slaughtered them. A true shame, that; I do indeed miss having a good challenge now and then. But I suppose I have only myself to blame; perhaps I should not have killed them so quickly…”
He paused to chuckle as he completed his circle, halting again in front of the girl, “But you see, I’m still entitled to having my fun, just like everyone else. It’s just such a shame that I’m left to weaklings like you, my dear, and these flowers,” he paused to consider her other comments; the little girl was showing her claws, was she? How naïve and uneducated she was, could she not see that he had the power to take any female he wished? But why bother with forcing a weakling to be with him, when there were so many of his own kind who would simply kill to be with a Dokusatsu? Perhaps he should inform the little fool…
A rough chuckle filled the air before his spoke, “My dear, you don’t see, do you?” he shook his reptilian head, as though in disapproval, “How very innocent of you. Surely you must realize that I could have any girl I wanted,” he paused, lifting a clawed hand before his face, as though studying the cleanliness of them, before he let out a short bark of a laugh, flexing the claws as he continued, “You see, I could even have you, if I wished. Wouldn’t that just be wonderful? After all, you seem so taken with me…” he smirked a sadistic grin, his sapphire eyes flicking back to her through his claws. Chuckling once again, the youkai moved forward again, turning to face the south.
“But what use would be in that? Truth be told, my dear, I have much better candidates to choose from than a little sweetheart like you…” he glanced over his broad, scaled shoulder to look at her once again, “Unless you would like to try and prove your worth to me? Surely you’d like the chance to be a Dokusatsu; but I should warn you, I suppose, that playing hard-to-get doesn’t quite work on me, so perhaps you’d best change your tactics.”
He chuckled again, turning his gaze back towards the south; it was an insulting gesture, to be sure, for him to turn his back on a potential enemy. For a Dokusatsu to turn his back on you was to say that you were such a pathetic little insect that he wasn’t worried in the slightest about doing such a thing. Oh yes, if this little girl had such a sharp little vocabulary, then perhaps she would think herself so tough as to try to back it up with force. A laughable concept, to be sure, but if she wished to try such a thing, then the invitation was there; after all, one must be chivalrous, and if this little girl had any wish to fight, as her words suggested, he would let her have the first move.
How very kind of him, wouldn’t you agree?

OOC: She's so silly, makes me laugh at how childish she is and how Naguri seems so much more mature. Too bad she isn't more evil, she would certainly have more ego crushing things to say instead of calling him 'Princess'. XP Don't worry though, that won't be the end of the girly nicknames he will be called. I Need You Here; Well, if she wasn't angry before than she surely was livid now. The beast seemed to think of her quite little, possibly feeling as if she was a waste of space. It made her want to show him that she was more than worth his time. Yes, she was a tad naive when it came to some things, especially when it came to the point of knowing when to keep your mouth shut when around some that was far more strong than you. But she was young, she could care less if this brute of a youkai would tear her apart for speaking to him in such a way. Her insults may not have been as harsh, but she certainly liked to make her opponent look like some cuddly little bear who had just kept her from something she wanted. Calling them names a little child would say, using every feminine word she could to describe them.
Sayuri scoffed at his next comment, almost wanting to make a gagging noise to further show her lack of interest with his 'victories'. "Is that so princess? I'm guessing they weren't even that much of a match for you then. Turned into ash the second they saw your ugly carcass." It would make some laugh, the way she was speaking, with such a child like form of argument. Either way, she would give others a challenge as she tended to have so much material to dish out. Her nose had scrunched up the second he had gotten closer to her, as if he had smelled as bad as he appeared. All of these traits tended to make some treat her like a child, as if she didn't know what her 'elders' did. Sayuri didn't like it, but she truly did bring it on herself with the form of speech she used. 'So what, I don't care.'
More and more he began to pull at her strings, making the young youkai fume at the words that were escaping past his scaly lips. "Than why don't you kill me you over stuffed lizard?" She bit back, a growl slowly filling her voice as she made it obvious she didn't like to be underestimated. Being belittled was once of her biggest irks, making her grow mad at the mere fact others thought so much of themselves. Once more her claws flex, almost like a twitch as the brute began to slowly claw away at her composure. Sayuri could tell she was going to do something she was going to regret, she could already feel it. How she wished she had completed her training so she could teach youkai like these a good lesson. Unfortunately, she was left trying to verbally defend herself while making herself seem stupid.
What happened next was quite unexpected, bizarre even as it would make others look at her like she was insane. She began to...laugh, yes, she laughed at him. His comment had somehow amused her and caused her to go into a fit of giggles. A clawed hand rose up to try to stifle the laughter, covering her mouth as amused emerald eyes looked at him. She got them under control long enough to say something. "Why would I have any interest in a spoiled little brat like you? The only way you could have me would be by force. So I suggest sticking to your own kind, sweetie, you can be disgusting together." Sayuri smirked up at him, almost one of those dark Cheshire cat grins that would mock everything about you. Yes, she was indeed a fool but one that would put you to shame.
Her features were no longer contorted in disgust, they actually held sly appearance to them as she decided to play his game. "Really? Than why don't you go find them seeing as you seem to speak of them so highly. What keeps you here if you find my presence so unpleasant? It's your curiosity isn't it? Want to see how the poor little girl will act, so bent on getting a response but not willing to admit it." The reply was sharp and didn't have the childish tone as they others, it was sharp and crude as she said it with a grin on her face. "It's the only fun you have isn't it? Couldn't imagine you doing anything else." It was stated calmly, almost ignoring the fact he had just turned his back to her, as if she didn't matter. 'Stupid overgrown lizard...' Her gaze remained strong, though she stopped looking at him.
Sayuri decided if he could be so comfortable with turning his back toward her than she could do the same. She laid back down, like she had been before he came, resuming to caress the flowers with her claws. "Can you hear them?" The question came out of nowhere, though it wasn't really clear if she was asking him or just talking to herself. Her energy calmed back down, no longer flaring out like it had been earlier. If he wanted to play that way than he only deserved the same treatment. She may have been at a disadvantage but she was determined to make it seem like she wasn't that much weaker than him. Sayuri had a strong spirit, one that wasn't easily broken and would leave her standing through anything as long as she kept it pieced together. 'What ya gonna do now lizard breath...' Life Is Falling Apart.

((I’m sure he’ll be pleased at that xD)) ˇ˅ˇNagurikorosuˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇHave you heard the newsˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇThat you’re dead?ˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇI think they neverˇ˅ˇ ˇ˅ˇLiked you anywayˇ˅ˇ
The air again was filled with the brute’s rocky chuckle, a distinct contrast to the female youkai’s ringing laugh. He shook his head slightly, grinning at the girl’s childish insults; how cute. She should be more mature if she wanted any respect at all, though he guessed there was hardly a use for it when she was dealing with him; she wouldn’t get any respect from him regardless of how she acted. She was welcome to act any way she wished; but any way would earn her more insults.
“My dear girl, you merely show me how interested you are, but I must say that even I don’t have the power to turn others to ash with a look; I’m so sorry to burst your bubble; I know you were hoping I’d be more powerful,” he chuckled, “but perhaps you are not so far from the truth, after all, I can turn anything to ash, would you like to see?” He glanced over his shoulder again, flashing the girl a smirk as he gathered the Sanchuudoku within his mouth, only to send a glob of the blood-tinged saliva flying towards the girl a moment later; but he was not aiming for her, rather, for the flowers she was so busy admiring.
The glob hit the flowers and began to sizzle, the acidic bacteria eagerly consuming the flowers they touched, leaving little more than smoke and ask. The youkai flashed another smirk at the girl before he turned around again, another rough chuckle passing through his scaly lips. “My dear, what fun would be in killing so fragile a thing as you’re your struggle is much more fun than your death, after all,” he paused, laughing as though at some hidden joke, “Besides, why would I want to kill you, when you’re so obviously just trying to hide your feelings for me?” He flashed another look over his shoulder, his sapphire eyes watching the girl, “A little advice, sweetheart: you might should try a bit harder; you aren’t doing a very good job.”
He smirked again and turned around, shifting into movement again as he drug his body into another circle of the girl, his sapphire gaze watching her again as he did so, considering her comments; well, well, well, what have we here? Perhaps she was capable of a mature insult. Even he was partially surprised at such words coming from this innocent little girl, though surprise was a thing easily hidden on a reptilian face.
He chuckled quietly, “Well my dear, perhaps you are correct, but there is nothing wrong with curiosity, now is there? Everyone enjoy a bit of variety from time to time. But I wonder, what keeps you from leaving me, if you’re so disgusted by my appearance? There is nothing holding you here.” He paused in his walk, leaning over her so that he literally spoke down to her, “Curiosity can work both ways, my dear; perhaps you should think more carefully before trying to insult someone; you wouldn’t want to always end up insulting yourself instead, my dear.”
He hesitated briefly, watching the girl, then straightened up and continued to pace a neat circle around her, saying as he went, “But did you know what it is that makes those other girls so appealing to me? They’re killers, just like me. How does that make you feel, sweetheart, being so near a killer? It frightens you, doesn’t it?” He let out a short laugh again, “But then, you were already afraid, weren’t you? You just didn’t know why. I’m betting that you’re so naïve that you wouldn’t even pin a monster like me to be a killer,” he paused, chuckling, “how very sweet of you, my dear.”
He paused again, considering her question; now just what was she rambling about? She was cramping his style, going on like that while she should be terrified. But no matter; so she would a challenge; regardless, he would have her truly afraid before the end of this meeting; it was just a matter of patience. And for a one-ton, short-legged creature like himself, patience came very easily.
“But then, perhaps that doesn’t frighten you. Perhaps you’re attracted to killers, attracted to the power we have. I bet you hate yourself for it, too; of course you’ll never admit it, but I know the truth,” he smirked a sadistic grin, “that’s why you haven’t left. You want to know what it feels like to be a killer,” his dark tongue flicked out of his mouth once again, “You want to know what death tastes like…”

I Need You Here; Once more he had made her uneasy, made her want to get up and wipe that smirk off his face. She refused to give however, quite stubborn as she remained where she was. "Hn.'" It was her only reply to his statement, not really liking the fact he thought so highly of himself. Sayuri watched his display, seeing the flowers sizzle and bake to death. She could almost imagine their cries with they were allowed a voice. It made her angry, that the brute had such little respect for everything else around him. He had acted as if it was his playground and was free to do exactly as he pleased. It made her want to take him down a notch or two, make him wish he hadn't been such a bastard. 'Maybe if I had finished my training with Eiji...' It was a far away thought that seemed more like a dream, something unattainable.
Sayuri scoffed once more, scrunching up her nose a she avoided his form and continued to look at the flowers. "Forgive me, beautiful, didn't mean to keep so much attention from you." She stated with sarcasm, obviously mocking him with the term beautiful when she had been calling him a hideous beast this whole time. "You're right, there's no hiding it, my obvious disgust must mean I'm attracted to you." There was so much sarcasm that the sentence was practically dripping with it, the venomous reply coming from her own mouth. This whole arrogant thing was starting to get on her nerves, but she wouldn't deny there was some truth to his words she wasn't willing to admit. Attracted to such a hideous beast? Never. Fascinated by his very crude behavior? Definitely. 'Keep guessing scaly...'
Sari was majorly considering taking a bite out of his scaly hide, the bastard would only deserve such a thing. Claws continued to touch the flowers, gently touching their petals while making sure not to slice them. She did it with such care, contrasting greatly against Mr. Lizard's form of enjoying nature. She was bothered by his very presence, reminding her of how her mother had wanted her to get a mate in a strong family. The beast in front of her would have probably been her mother's picture of perfection, though she was sure her father would have disagreed. Of course, Eiji would have disagreed with just about anyone who would have wanted to take his little girl from him. Sayuri missed her favored parent greatly, the only male that had shown he wasn't some foul barbarian.
Speaking of foul barbarians with a problem of getting a female's attention, Mr. Lizard was still going around strutting his stuff. "Being a little too literal aren't we? What if it has nothing to do with you, what if I'm not staying here because of you? Maybe I love the flowers so much I'm willing to put up with your ugly carcass?" Most of the questions were rhetorical, though she was sure he'd answer every one of them anyway. Sayuri gave a small grin, looking at him as she touched one of the flowers, almost to further prove her point. She would not allow this brute of a youkai to catch her off balance, she would match him word for word as long as she possibly could. She watched with some interest as he paused and looked at her, briefly wondering if something had gone through his mind.
However, he just continued on with his rant, beginning on the reason why he had liked those hideous creatures called females. He was entitled to like them, though Sayuri briefly wondered why any youkai male would want one. They were always so catty and annoying, throwing themselves on the males they desired. It was repulsive, to see such behavior that gave the entire female youkai a bad name. "Of course, princess. I consider you to be a fluffy little bunny that I can take home with me by the end of the day. Keep dreaming..." She offered dryly, giving him a pretty blank look as he continued his little pace around her. "That sounds so much better coming from you." She commented on his 'compliment' of her person, referring to her as being sweet for giving monsters like him a chance.
Sayuri almost wanted to attack him for his last comment but...she didn't and she wouldn't. "Gorgeous, you've done nothing to prove you're even worth being considered an option. So far all I've seen you do is spit and beat your chest, nothing amazing." She added with some sarcasm, raising a delicate brow in question. Almost telling him to prove himself or something. What she said next was completely different, almost matching his evil behavior. "Of course, that day however will be reserved for a few kitties that will lose every last life they have." Tone grew cold and emotionless, sounding quite serious and bloodthirsty. 'They will die by my hands.' Emerald eyes momentarily flashed to an amber color, almost having a predatory glow to them. A part of her soul was tainted, and they were to blame.
Finally, after laying in the same spot through the whole conversation, she stood up. Getting to her feet she dusted off her kimono, the baby blue silk material reaching about mid thigh. Her gaze was taken off the youkai for a moment, searching the tall grass for something that was hidden in it. Sayuri bent down and reached her hands into the grass, pulling Yoshiaki forth from it's hiding spot. Holding the handle in one perfectly clawed hand she raised it straight in front of her, at eye level. Sayuri was now facing the youkai, almost as if she was showing it to him. "Yoshiaki shall be the last thing they feel, ripping their forms apart as they fall to the floor defeated." Gaze was glued to the blade, looking at it with much admiration as she traced the odd markings with her eyes. 'They will pay.' Life Is Falling Apart.

¡˅¡Nagurikorosu¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Have you heard the news¡˅¡ ¡˅¡That you’re dead?¡˅¡ ¡˅¡I think they never¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Liked you anyway¡˅¡
It’s funny to me how you’ve turned into such a joke.
It was hardly as unpleasant a meeting for Naguri as it so obviously was for the female youkai; he was actually quite enjoying himself, toying with this innocent little girl. But perhaps she was not so innocent, after all, she was angering quite rapidly; maybe he would come to see that she was capable of being a youkai and not just a little girl lost from home. Maybe, but he doubted that; she was hardly anything but a joke, an immature little child who thinks she knows something about insults.
He chuckled at her statements; he was no stranger to sarcasm, but why bother using it when one could just as easily toy with someone with the unaltered truth? “But of course, my dear, your disgust is merely hiding your true feelings; and as I said, you are doing such a poor job of hiding them. The insults are a bit excessive, dear; it just makes the effort this is taking you all the more obvious,” he hissed, the same smirk still plastered to his reptilian face.
“My dear girl, if you love these flowers so much, then why are you staying around to watch me destroy them? Surely you can’t care for these tattered remains so much as to put of with me for their sake,” he grinned, lashing his heavy trail to the side, adding to the destruction his walking was creating, “After all, the flowers certainly won’t thank you for sticking around.”
He chuckled again at her comments; a fluffy bunny, indeed! Name-calling was so immature, truly, and it was getting quite old; could she not come up with something more interesting? But, then, the last time she had tried to be more creative, she had ended up insulting herself as much as him; so perhaps it was best for the little girl to stay set in her ways. It was indeed quite pathetic.
“Sweetheart, you’re doing a horrible job of not sounding interested; I know you’re just hoping for a chance to see me in action,” he chuckled, “But as it is, I don’t see any reason of proving myself to such a pathetically weak being as yourself, so sorry. But, my dear, you’re already well aware of my power, aren’t you? Why else would you be restraining yourself so much? You obviously want to attack me, so,” he turned a haughty, challenging look on her, “why don’t you?”
Sapphire eyes watched the girl curiously as her entire tone changed in reaction to his comments, and his grin turned quite dark; now here at last he had found a true youkai within this sweet little girl. Walking, talking proof of the animal that resided within each and every one of them. It was only a matter of those who accepted it and those who fought it. He did more than accept it; he embraced it, welcomed it into his soul as the Dokusatsu had always done. It was what made them so powerful, living so closely with the animal, embracing its powers and strengthening their own as a result. These youkai who fought their true side were weak, just like this fragile little girl; but this showed that she could fight all she wanted, could battle every day of her life, and the animal would still win. There was no point in battling it; it was best to give in, to let the animal take control, and life became so much easier.
The youkai watched as the girl stood up and hefted a sword which he would not have expected her to even be able to lift. Hm, perhaps there was more to this sweet little girl than he gave her credit for…but the fact still stood that she was weak; no one outside his family but Raion could even hope to be considered more than weak by him, and he wasn’t even sure he considered Raion to be anything more than weak. This girl certainly didn’t stand a chance.
He studied the intricacies of the blade; a fine weapon, to be sure; far to fine to be carried in the hands of such a disgracefully pathetic being, “So, birdie has a weapon, does she?” he chuckled; two could resort to name-calling, “My dear, you’d best put that down before you hurt yourself; that’s hardly a toy for a child,” he paused, his sapphire gaze on the girl rather than the sword.
“You think you’re tough, don’t you, waving that sword about? You think it gives you power, don’t you? But look here, my dear, and see what a true youkai looks like. The only weapons you have are those you have in your true form; you’d do best to learn that your little toy won’t get you anywhere but through a few humans.”
Ah yes, Naguri was capable of giving advice, though most wouldn’t believe it; after all, it’d be a shame for such an entertaining little toy to get broken…

OOC: Let the battle begin! Don't kill her though, you can beat her 'till she's laying on the floor but don't kill her. :3 I Need You Here; No matter what she did he always put her down, always made her feel like she was worthless. It began to way down on the poor girl, began to make her wonder if she truly wasn't worth the time. It angered her that he was getting what he wanted, that he was getting her to doubt that she would be even a match for this brute. Sayuri had suddenly ignored all his previous words, blocking out the ones he was currently speaking in response to her earlier ones. The sword fell by her side, still gripped tightly by the clawed hand but no longer held outward. Slowly, she began to feel as if she should just allow the beast to get it over with and end her life. Though a part of her told her to fight it, not to allow him the pleasure. More and more she began to feel the fool, as if she had let her family name down without a fight.
"Yes, you may be right after all. I'm a weakling undeserving to live among such fine youkai." It was stated quite plainly, no sarcasm or gentle tunes to set it apart. It was just void of any emotion, chilling as it seemed she had hidden deep within herself. "Yet a butcher like you has no right to tell me this. The words spoken from your mouth are worthless, words spoken from some rogue youkai who's parents had built up his ego to the point he believes he's god. Tell me child of the house of Dokusatsu, why do you continue to try to prove yourself a respectable opponent?" Even if the youkai were to say something in response, Sayuri would be unable to hear it. She had blocked away the outside world, allowed her inner beast to slowly slip out so it could defend her. 'Die...'
The Hai-Riyo had straightened out her posture, allowing herself to make all the trace of an innocent girl disappear. There was no shine in her eyes, they were blank, a solid emerald color as no soul was shown behind them. However, a few flecks of amber had settled in, complimentary of her beast. Her very first expression had come in the form of a toothy grin, allowing the sharp incisors to show in a pearly flash. "Look at a true youkai? Please spare me the pep talks to your ego, if I wanted to look at a true youkai I would go find one." It was obvious the little features that made Sayuri, well Sayuri, had disappeared all together. As a defense mechanism, Yoshiaki had made the girl tap in to her youkai instincts. If the youkai wanted to speak to someone with more brains than he got that someone.
The clawed hand around the sword gripped tighter, the bell jingling at the slight flex of the muscles. The Hai-Riyo was on complete edge, there was not a thing that wouldn't set her off at that moment. The brute had threatened her, attacked her weak emotions and tried to break her. "Dokusatsu filth, why is it you wish to begin a confrontation so eagerly? Especially with someone who won't be a match." The tone remained cold and flat, almost dead as it continued to question the youkai. It wasn't her, what was talking right now wasn't her. Sayuri was far too weak to fight back though, the Dokusatsu child had truly hurt her. Her empty hand flexed it's claws, continuing to make it quite obvious that she wanted to attack the foul beast. Maybe that's what she should do, maybe that's what she would do.
A hard release than re-grip of her hand caused the markings of her sword to flash madly, settling down in a few seconds be still remaining lit. Sayuri's aura began to drift out, searching for the komodo youkai as it began the dance they were about to take part in. There was a chance that he could withstand it, completely be immune to it, but there was also a chance with the current state Sayuri was in that it would have a nasty outcome. One of the more eerie features was the fact it caused mass hallucinations and paranoia. Allowing voices only belonging to a demented mind to fill your thoughts. Yet, the Dokusatsu child held enough power to push it aside, if he knew what it was that is. Sayuri began to take on a crouching position, fingers stretching out in a threatened manner.
"Luck is on your side this day, so I'll answer your request and give you a spar. I will more than likely lose, but don't think I won't try." It was growled through her lips, forced past her teeth as she grew ready for combat. That being said, the female suddenly took off at a surprising speed toward the youkai male. Only to hop over his form, her dainty figure allowing her to have fluid movements. The second her feet had felt grass, her right arm had shot out toward the youkai's form, Yoshiaki threatening to get a good rip at him. Sayuri had quickly let out a second attack, her free arm reach to pull out a few feathers. In a few seconds she let them fly, hoping that at least one would hit it's mark. The battle had begun, and Sayuri wasn't about to stop until the male had her bleeding on the grassy floor... Life Is Falling Apart.

((Don’t worry; Naguri is having too much fun just toying with her to kill her; he’ll leave her alive for some more entertainment, lol.)) ¡˅¡Nagurikorosu¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Have you heard the news¡˅¡ ¡˅¡That you’re dead?¡˅¡ ¡˅¡I think they never¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Liked you anyway¡˅¡
So what if you can see the darkest side of me.
It was indeed truly amazing the effect the true self of a youkai can have on even the tamest of demons when given the slightest chance to take control. Just look at this girl, so innocent before, only to become as much a monster as the komodo dragon was as soon as she let her true self take hold. It was beautiful. Now this was exactly how a youkai should act! Indeed, Nagurikorosu was quite pleased with this outcome; now for the real fun to begin…
He felt the female’s demonic energies rising about her, expanding across the field towards him, covering the flowers; it was a taste on the air, pungent and stronger with each time his darkened tongue flicked out of his mouth. It was a glorious taste, one that triggered his own demonic energies, eager to rise and counter. The familiar taste of death rose in his mouth, soon blocking out the taste of the other youkai’s energies, as the Sanchuudoku and Gekidoku filled his mouth, eager for his beck and call to send them to work. But his own energies would have to wait, for now he felt the female’s energies brush against his scales, attempting to penetrate. He smirked, his fangs coated in the glistening red saliva; as if that was going to work on him.
A subtle shifting of his control sent his own energy rushing through the paths of his body to come leaping from his skin, an invisible charge as his energies eagerly sought out the rival energies, battling the aura and sending it aside almost effortlessly. Naguri could feel the victory of his energy as it returned to him, and his smirk widened, his glistening tongue flicking out of his mouth again as the blood and bacteria-ridden saliva began to drip from his mouth; it was always so eager to be used, barking at the end of its leash to get at the enemy. A sizzle rose from the flowers beneath him as the Sanchuudoku fell upon them, burning them eagerly.
“Now, now, my dear, that’s hardly any way to begin a fight,” he hissed, taking especial joy in her lack of faith in her own abilities; such a joy it brought, to see one’s work in action, to see how much effect one can have on others. Quite a joy, indeed.
Sapphire gaze easily followed the movements of the Hai-Riyo; Naguri might be slow himself, but he could still see quickly. He didn’t even flinch as she neared him; there was hardly a reason for him to be afraid, after all. There was hardly anything the girl could do to hurt him. Scale makes the best armor when it’s thick enough. Head turned to follow the girl as she leapt over him, swinging her sword at his dragon body as soon as she touched ground. A roar of rough laughter filled the air as she sword struck him, only to glance off the bone-reinforced scales that covered his form.
The female youkai’s second attack followed in rapid succession; she was quick, to be sure, but that hardly mattered when you may as well be attacking a mountain; she would have the same amount of luck getting any wounds through on either. The feathers, much like the swords, merely glanced off, not even leaving a chink in his armor. The youkai’s laugh continued in a chuckle even as he began his own retaliating strike; he could hardly turn around in such tight quarters, but that hardly left him defenseless.
Twenty-five feet of tightly coiled muscle layered over in thick scale went to work as the komodo dragon swung his tail out towards the female youkai. But this was not meant to be a strike; no, he simply wanted to toy with her some more, to capture her in the coiled strength of his tail just so he could laugh at her and taunt her more. It would be not unlike a python’s manner, to wrap its enemy in coils and then to watch, tightening it’s grip each time the victim struggled. He would almost feel sorry for the girl if she allowed herself to be caught; but, then, remorse was hardly a thing he was capable of feeling; if she let herself get caught, then she had no one but herself to blame.
No one will ever change this animal I have become.

OOC: Aww, Naguri's just gonna end up making her tire herself out. Poor Sayuri's gonna be running back and forth until she falls. XP I Need You Here; Nothing was working, not a single thing was working on that scaly hide of his. The first two attacks had not even caused a single scratch on that body of his. They merely deflected off, scattering off somewhere into the surrounding field. It was quite the let down, watching as her attacks did nothing to the big lizard. Sayuri was becoming more desperate by the second, her inner beast screeching to take complete control. To allow itself free and to take it's true form, something that would surely be almost as large as the field itself. She refused though, she had let enough of her control slip from her grasp as she could merely watch as these actions were being put into play without her consent. The young youkai was at a lost of what to do, watching as the scene played before her eyes and didn't show a single hint as how she could get past it. 'What did I just happen to get myself in to?'
However, the beast was in control and she had no control of suggesting anything. Her gaze snapped to the large tail that had been sent her way, threatening to keep her in it's grasp 'till the komodo beast had it's fill. Sayuri growled in protest, feathers stiffening and puffing up as she grew angrier by the second. With a quick push off of her feet she was sent backward, being sent through the air until she was a good distance away from the offending beast. The beast continued to bite and snarl, commanding to know why the young girl wouldn't allow her to let it rip the big lizard apart. Surely it would at least be dealing more damage than she was at the moment. The little thing bared her fangs at the older youkai, continuing to poke and prod at the beast that could surely be the death of her. Of course she was angry at the moment, and when she was angry she tended to defy those of higher status.
Sayuri crouched low, gazing with a burning fire at the youkai who was her target. "No fair." Her tone was teasing, the smirk spreading across her face proving that she was playing more than arguing at the moment. She crawled through the grass, not low to the ground but just crawling as if she was stalking the large beast. At the moment she was taking her time on getting so close to him when he could take her out with one blow. It was within a second that she suddenly dashed to the side, making a circular motion around the large beast. Once more, she had taken a few feathers from her wings, this time slicing them across one of her shoulders. It was then that they were coated in a blue substance, most likely the Hai-Riyo's blood. The feathers showed no sign of burning or melting, seeing as they were pretty much immune to any effect it might have on normal enemies.
'Let's see if when can get a scratch on that pretty little hide of yours.' Sayuri had continued the circular motion, only to surge forward in a sharp change of direction. Her hands continued to hold onto the feathers, tightening briefly before she sent them flying toward the youkai's direction once more. She was hoping that the chemicals in her blood would be strong enough to scratch, burn, or possibly melt through the lizard's armor. Sayuri it slow down to find out, she continued on her forward path as she jumped over the beast's form once more. She decided that a far off tactic would be much more in her favor at this point. A good distance was placed between them as Sayuri had made sure to run off a good ways from him. The young youkai may not have had much knowledge on battle but she did have commonsense. 'Come on, let's do this.' Life Is Falling Apart.

((Lol, poor Sayuri, indeed xD)) ¡˅¡Nagurikorosu¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Have you heard the news¡˅¡ ¡˅¡That you’re dead?¡˅¡ ¡˅¡I think they never¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Liked you anyway¡˅¡
Say goodbye, as we dance with the Devil tonight.
Naguri twisted his human torso to watch as the girl leapt back from his tail’s reach, and he smirked as he swung he tail back behind him. “Having fun, yet, my dear? Surely you realize how hopeless this little game of yours is. There’s no sense in throwing your life away, sweetheart, why don’t you just run, and save me the bother of killing you? I’ve had my fun, and now things grow boring, especially if you can’t come up with any better than that,” he hissed, watching as she crept nearer through the grass; now what was she trying to pull?
Sapphire gaze followed the girl as the komodo shifted his human torso to follow her movements. Eyes widened, however, when the girl suddenly dashed to the side, and he lost track of her for the briefest of moments; komodo eyesight was only so good, especially when it came to prey moving that quickly. But he could taste the air where she had been, and where she was; he swung his head around just in time to see her feathers flying just before she leapt over him; what, trying this same tactic again? Pathe….
The thought didn’t even make it through his head before he hissed loudly; whatever she had done this time, he definitely had felt that. He looked at the spot on his back where the pain came from, to see the feathers stuck into his hide, surrounded by a burning liquid. A liquid which tasted of blood on the air. Well, well; he had his saliva, she had her blood. So, perhaps this could be interesting, but unfortunately for her, acid could only work so long when countered by another acid.
Gathering the Sanchuudoku within his mouth, the beast spat a wad at the wounded area, neutralizing the other acid before he swiped his tail across the area, knocking the feathers free from his hide. Blood oozed from the affected area, but it was hardly deep enough to faze him. But still; she had managed to pierce his hide in her human form… He would very much enjoy seeing her true form.
Reptilian head swung around as the lizard caught sight of where the girl was now, a smirk wide across his mouth, “Well, well, my dear, you cracked a great mystery: you broke through my hide. But you see my dear, it’s already repairing itself; we reptiles have a great way of replacing old scales, after all. So you see it is hopeless to keep fighting; unless you can kill me in a single attack, it’s quite useless. But then, you’re not strong enough to do that, are you?” He paused, chuckling quietly, “That is, unless you changed…”
Yes, perhaps that would work; after all, what he had said was true; his demonic energies were already at work on the wound; he could not heal the flesh, but where the hide remained, scales were rapidly being replaced. And with the rate he healed, and with how long it took this girl to wound him, he doubted he would have to worry about a few shallow wounds. But he was not worried to begin with; no, he was, rather, quite eager to see this girl’s true form. It only would take the right coaxing, the right taunting words, and she’d let the animal take control very soon. Naguri smirked in anticipation.

OOC: Right now she's gonna put up a fight. She'll most likely turn into her true form in my next post. ^_^ I Need You Here; Sayuri scowled at his suggestion of changing so she could stand a fighting chance. Her nose scrunched up in disagreement with the statement. No, she would make a few more attempts before resorting to her last option. It was a desperate measure only used when she knew there was no other way of getting out of something. Her true form usually caused much destruction, fear, and unwanted attention by others. It was something she didn't really love about herself, even if her father had tried many times to get her to understand that it was just another part of her. With the right control she wouldn't have to worry about killing those that weren't meant as a target. However, she was greatly terrified of ever having to change into the beast that lusted for blood far more than she liked. 'I'm fighting two losing battles.'
Sayuri glared at the older youkia, loathing him for trying to get her into a mood that would most likely send her over the edge. "Shut your mouth, Dokusatsu filth!" The cry was shrill and bit more wavery than she would have liked it to be. The young youkai was trying not to make it seem like he was winning, that he was pushing her over the edge and down into a pit that would most likely break her. Once more, she crouched down into a battle pose as she grew ready to lash out at the offending lizard. She swayed back and forth, almost as if she was getting ready to run off into a different direction again. The action betrayed her next one though, a hand reaching to the fanged necklace and yanking it off. Like she had stated before, she was going for a much more distanced attack.
With a rough jerk of her hand, the necklace was harshly whipped backward. A sharp flash soon revealed a much longer and larger whip like weapon. Fangs were threaded through the leather, far bigger than the youkai's hands as they were taken from some kind of beast. It lay behind her, mostly hidden in the field as she held it tightly in her right hand. There was a good amount of six fangs, all of them being a large and menacing sight. Another weapon from her father, though this one had been from her request. A soft growl vibrated through her chest, signaling that she was going to put up one last fight before resorting to changing forms. With a sudden force of her arm she sent the fanged whip flying in the direction of the komodo youkai. 'Please, let it make a difference...'
She was not sure if it made a difference, but she quickly began to lash away at the youkai. Sayuri's hand movements seemed to be just as fas as her feet, becoming almost a blur as she continued to jerk the whip in the direction of the youkai. However, her control was slipping away by the second, desperate to see some kind of improvement from her other attacks. Sayuri had moved very little, remaining in that one spot as she didn't dare step forward. She was pretty sure the older youkai was growing quite bored with her defense, though she could do nothing else. Her eyes showed an inner battle she was trying to control, the colors continuing to flash to amber and back to their regular green. The Dokusatsu child wouldn't have to do very much to help her with that one last step over the edge. Life Is Falling Apart.

((Yeah, I’m betting she will, given that Naguri’s going to have enough and change first, rofl.)) ¡˅¡Nagurikorosu¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Have you heard the news¡˅¡ ¡˅¡That you’re dead?¡˅¡ ¡˅¡I think they never¡˅¡ ¡˅¡Liked you anyway¡˅¡
And darkness is fading in, and darkness is real.
Rocky chuckle again filled the air at the girl’s reaction; so, she did not favor her true form? A pity; a demon’s true form was a gift, it was the thing which truly set them apart from those crawling insects, the humans. It was the only form in which they could truly be free. A shame she was not fond of hers, but such a soft girl as her would think of the bloodthirsty beast of her other form to be a curse, rather than the gift that it truly was.
Sapphire gaze followed the movements of the girl as she prepared to attack again; a last ditch effort, no doubt. Tongue flicked out of the lizard’s mouth again; he could almost taste her desperation. He watched as she yanked the necklace from her neck, and his eyes widened slightly as he changed, his mouth twisting into a wicked smirk; now this would be quite fun indeed.
The komodo stood, his claws rooted into the ground, as the whip came at him, expecting his hide to merely absorb the blows and be down with this pathetic effort. But he was wrong; whatever demon those fangs came from must have been powerful. The slightest moment and the youkai showed surprise as the fangs scraped against his hide, scratching into the scales. One caught especially well, and a searing pain spread as it sliced through the already weakened area that the feather had hit. Well, well; so this whip of hers had some power, did it?
The fangs continued to batter against him, stronger with each attack as the girl’s desperation seemed to grow, and gouging into his scales. But he merely began to chuckle; well, if she wouldn’t change only for his taunting, then he would make her change.
The youkai ripped his demonic energies from tending to repairing the scratched scales; they would be needed for the transformation. The energies spread through the paths of his body, a toxic cloud spreading around him as the vapors leaked through his scales. His chuckle paused, a smirk on his face as he looked to the girl, “Well, well, my dear; Dokusatsu filth, am I? It would only be fair of you to call me that if you knew what I truly looked like…”
Again the demon laughed as his energies went to work, his form growing, his scales thickening, and his human torso melting into the rest of his body until all that remained was a komodo dragon, normal in appearance save for it’s immense size, which was steadily growing. Despite the immense changes, the transformation was quick, thanks to a lifetime of practicing its use. All told, at the end of the transformation, in the field where the one-ton monster had stood, there now stood a much larger 80-ton beast, filling the field with its bulk, its half-mile tail lashing out at the tree at the edge of the field to make room for itself. Half a mile of komodo body rested its bulk on the ground of the field, the flowers beneath hopelessly crushed beneath the immense weight.
The creature’s mouth twisted into what might charitably be called a smile, its sapphire eyes darker in shade as it turned its gaze upon the girl, who stood as little more than an insect to the beast. A rumble came from the beast, something as might be the dragon’s equivalent of a laugh, as the dark tongue flicked out of its mouth, coming dangerously close to the girl before it retreated back into the darkness of the mouth.
Now, my dear, let us see that true form of yours…

OOC: Ahhh! They're gonna destroy everything. XP I Need You Here; It had been going pretty good until the big lizard, well, turned into a big lizard! The current sight had Sayuri looking up with wide eyes, obviously no longer caring whether the youkai could tell how frightened she had become. 'The only way I can fight him now is if...' She had refused to ever do such a thing, a life among humans instead of fellow youkai had made her understand why her true form was such a menace. How it could cause so much damage and cause fear to rise in others. If she had been raised by her parents, completely, she might have a had a better liking toward the large feathery form. Sayuri stumbled back as the large, forked tongue of the beast had gotten uncomfortably close to her. The fanged whip and sword lay forgotten in the field that was currently being crushed by the large komodo youkai.
Her gaze was snapped away from the beast as they widened, far more than her reaction to the brute's true form. A hand suddenly held her stomach, a look of extreme pain contorting her facial features. The other hand closed into a fist, the nails digging into her palm at the amount of pain that was currently racking her entire body. Her mouth opened in a silent scream, something was happening to her. The transformation began. The young youkai's legs buckled, allowing her to fall to the dirt floor as she instinctively leaned forward. The pain was harsh, she could feel the bones bending and breaking as they tried to form another figure that was not her own. "Aghhh..." A sound was finally released passed her lips, the noise harsh and broken, the pain showing quite clearly. 'P-please, stop, please...
The noises coming from her body were sickening, the cracking and jerking of her petite form showing the beginning of the transformation. Unlike the older youkai, she didn't change so often so the process was slow and painful. The little girl being able to feel the whole thing happening, a foreign process that was causing her great discomfort. The wings on her back began to grow, slowly changing to a completely snow white color, stiff as they spread outward. The hand that was digging into itself stopped the abuse, instead it decided to dig into the ground below. "Ahhhh!" Her head lurched back, the ivory incisors now fully molding into her face, turning an ash color. The first sign of her true form was the beak that was currently replacing her lips and jaw. 'Oh god, it hurts!'
Sayuri's shrill cries of pain came to a sudden stop, only leaving her shaking uncontrollably. 'Is it ove...' The thought was never finished as the transformation continued faster than before. White feathers began to sprout, replacing the clothes she was currently wearing, beginning to mesh together. The process was quickening, stretching and pulling her form until she had fully been covered in feathers. The beak had fully grown in, the last being the long tail that suddenly appeared. The beginning feathering out much like a bird's tail, then continuing on his it grew slender and long much like a dragon's. There were four horns sprouting from her skull, the rest just a fluffy bunch of feathers that acted as it's own kind of armor, made to take the impact of blows. Soon enough she grew in scale, somewhat larger than the male youkai.
The only advantage she could have, though it was only because he was closer to the ground while she stood tall much like a dog would. At first she had almost fell over, this little area surely not big enough for the both of them. It looked like it was going to be a face to face battle, seeing as her large legs had already crushed most of the trees beneath them. The last change took place, the one that would wipe away any trace of what was Sayuri. The once kind emerald eyes turned a bright ember, appearing insane as they remained wide open. Now only the beast existed, Sayuri was no longer there and the beast was the one in charge. To further signify it's dominance, it let out a shrill cry that has the sharp pitch of a bird and a low growl of a true beast. The battle would truly begin... Life Is Falling Apart.
